mirror lake

I went to Yosemite National Park for Thanksgiving and did this quick sketch after a short hike to Mirror Lake. Spent about an hour on it before the sun disappeared and the temperature dropped. Unfortunately the lake was dried up.

three rivers valley painting start

starting a painting based on some photographs I took outside the sequoia national forest.

Started with a blank masonite board with a couple of coats of gesso.
